Voting on your favorite time option

When scheduling a new meeting with Meekan on a public channel, everyone in the team can vote on their favorite time option. Meekan will count all the votes, and if one option gets a unanimous vote, he’ll automatically book it.

How to vote

When Meekan is displaying all the possible time options:

This is definitely the best option:
1 Tuesday, Apr 21 at 1:00 PM
These are also quite good:
2 Wednesday, Apr 22 at 1:00 PM
3 Wednesday, Apr 22 at 12:00 PM (Jake is busy at this time)
4 Monday, Apr 20 at 1:00 PM (Loren and Jake are busy at this time)

Anyone in the channel can vote on their favorite:

vote 1

vote 1, 3 to pick more than one option

or simply Wednesday to pick all the Wednesday options (in our example, this would be the same as saying vote 2, 3)

If you’re using Slack, you can also press the Vote here button. This will display number buttons for every options, and everyone can click (or un-click) their favorite option.

Keeping score

To see the number of votes each option received, just say score

Booking the meeting

When you’re ready to book the meeting into everyone’s calendar say

book it

To pick the highest-voted option, or pick an option number explicitly

book 2

to ignore the votes, and just book option 2.
